In November 2015 the Club decided to raise money for Charity and as well as participate in fund raising projects to allocate £0.50 per seat entry at the Regatta and both Heads with the total being divided between two funds:

Each year the Club chooses a Charity to support and in 2016 the chosen Charity was

The total raised in 2016 for Velindre Cancer Care was £5946 and a cheque was presented to them at the Club's AGM in November 2106

The Monmouth Rowing Fund

to assist and support rowing generally in the Monmouth area with particular emphasis on aspiring juniors

To date a total of £2432.50 has been raised for the Rowing Fund including a donation from the Chute Foundation
